Out with the old, in with the new

Hello, Winning English readers and listeners! I hope all is well with you in these first few days of 2021.

I wanted to remind you about some changes I announced previously that are starting this month.

First, I am returning to my original publication schedule. Winning English will now be sent to you on Mondays and Thursdays at 6 pm Central United States time.

However, I will also be publishing a free, bonus episode every other weekend! That will be sent to you on Sundays at 6 pm Central United States time.

If you are not already a subscriber, please consider becoming one now. You’ll get every issue - not just that bonus one - and you get access to the entire existing catalog of more than 40 episodes.

If you are already a subscriber of Winning English, THANK YOU!!! Winning English relies exclusively on subscribers to make it possible. I literally can’t do this without you.

Either way, I kindly ask you to share that bonus issue with friends, family, and colleagues if you think they might benefit from it. Also, encourage them to subscribe, if it’s not too much trouble. 😁

You might have noticed the phrase “out with the old, in with the new” in the heading of this post. That’s a common phrase people use when they are preparing to do things in a different way. It’s also used when people are physically cleaning up their homes or other spaces.

“Every other weekend” means every two weeks.

And “if it’s not too much trouble” is a polite way to ask someone to do you a favor.
